The brief was to come up with something colourful and vibrant but also fairly elegant. Jim was keen on having a set of connected circles, and wanted the colours to reoccur and follow through the logo. I chose a clean sans serif typeface for the wording underneath.
This was a web banner to promote safeguarding best practice, for Northamptonshire County Council. There was a careful balance to be struck between having a fairly hard-hitting and impactive image and something that wasn't going to be off putting. The photo was a stock image provided by the Council.
